A great memory.The Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant is located in Southeastern Oklahoma about 95 miles north of Dallas. I think someone said the first night is free. I did not see people smoking even though every other machine had an ash tray. We saw some bison when we were driving in behind a fence by the entrance. Penny machines all the way up to $5 machines. People did not look miserable like they do in some other Indian casinos. There were some machines that kept ringing/winning. The casino felt just like a Vegas casino. Lots of other machines with cascading reels that I had never seen before. Planet moolah is my favorite and they had about 6 or 8 of those from penny to 60 cents. I was able to get free cokes at a dispensing station. I think I have to spend about $100 to get $10. So pretty much a great couple of hours for free.
